Jaehoon (Bob) Jang is a visionary fintech entrepreneur and institutional investment veteran with over two decades of experience across digital assets, global asset management, and cross-border business development. He has held leadership roles at leading financial institutions and now spearheads innovative efforts to globalize Korean franchise brands through tokenized financial infrastructure.

In 2024, he founded TOKENASIA KOREA & INDONESIA, a pan-Asian digital asset platform aimed at accelerating the globalization of K-franchise brands. Under his leadership, the firm delivers structured financial products that enable efficient local fundraising and sustainable expansion for consumer-facing Korean companies in Southeast Asia.

As Managing Director, CTO, and CISO at Hanwha Asset Management, he directed the firm’s digital transformation, cybersecurity, and IT systems while overseeing $82.3 billion in investment infrastructure and driving the listing of more than 20 ETFs.

Earlier in his career, he was Chief Operating Officer at AIM, Korea’s pioneering robo-advisor platform, where he led the company’s entry into the U.S. market via a FLIP structure. He also managed publicly offered investment funds at Hyundai Asset Management, and served as Managing Director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, overseeing global institutional portfolios and strategy.

Jang has been an active leader in the global digital finance arena. During his tenure at Buysell Standards, he contributed to pioneering initiatives in the tokenization and digital asset ecosystem. He was also the first Korean speaker at Money 20/20, where he presented a landmark proposal for the tokenization of Korean cultural content (K-content) in the global security token (ST) market. In addition, he received The Asian Banker Global Excellence in Retail Financial Services Award for Best Retail DeFi Initiative.

He also served as a member of the Derivatives Clearing Committee at the Korea Exchange (KRX) from March 2010 to March 2015.

He earned his Master of Science in Big Data as the top graduate from Korea University’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Communication Engineering and completed his Bachelor of Business Administration at Sogang University with the distinction of graduating third in class.

과거에는 국내 최초 로보어드바이저 플랫폼인 AIM에서 COO로 일하며 미국 시장 진출(FLIP 구조)을 이끌었고, 현대자산운용에서는 공모펀드를, 골드만삭스자산운용에서는 글로벌 기관 투자 포트폴리오 및 전략을 관리하는 상무로 활동했습니다.

장 대표는 글로벌 디지털 금융 분야에서도 활약했습니다. Buysell Standards 근무 당시 토큰화 및 디지털 자산 생태계 구축에 기여했으며, 세계 최대 디지털 금융 콘퍼런스인 Money 20/20에서 최초 한국인 연사로서 K-콘텐츠를 글로벌 보안토큰(ST) 시장에서 토큰화하는 획기적인 제안서를 발표한 바 있습니다. 또한 아시아 뱅커 리테일 금융서비스 글로벌 엑설런스 어워드에서 ‘최우수 리테일 DeFi 이니셔티브’ 상을 수상했습니다.

그는 2010년 3월부터 2015년 3월까지 한국거래소(KRX) 파생상품청산위원회 위원으로도 활동했습니다.

학력으로는 고려대학교 정보통신대학원 빅데이터 전공(최우수 졸업), 서강대학교 경영학 학사(차석 졸업) 등 뛰어난 성취를 이루었습니다.
